Description
Antique early to mid-1900s womens undergarment, one piece referred to as a "combination suit".It combines the separate undergarments of bloomers and a corset cover (though sometimes a corset was worn over these suits). Medium weight 100% cotton in white, with delicate embroidery and antique ribbon trim. Sleeveless with a v-shaped neckline and blousy fitting bodice. The waist fits a bit smaller in proportion to the rest of garment, as it is intend to be worn with a waist cinching corset. When properly tied closed at waist it fits a 23" waist, it will fit bigger however there will be a small gap at front. Knee length, loose fitting bloomer bottoms with a dropped crotch. Tiny real she'll buttons and ribbon tie waist. Pictured on a US size small / 4 mannequin with a 35 bust / 25 waist - there was a small gap at waist however the blousiness of top, it drapes over it as pictured. Freshly hand washed and ready to wear. Excellent condition considering age, no stains. There is a repair to front waist at seam that is only noticeable upon very close inspection.
