  • Condition: Excellent vintage condition, no holes, stains, rips, tears, picks or pulls. No pit stains. The seams near the pits have some loose and will need to be stitched back. It is a very easy fix. No rips. Any marks showing are dark marks on the mannequin that are showing through the pale silk fabric. There are no marks on the gown.     Description

    This is a beautiful vintage 1930s pure silk gown in pale pink with white lace trim on the bodice, collar and cuffs.  It is bias cut and has a "blouse" top which does up with 3 buttons.  The gown has belt loops to cinch it but no belt came with it.  It has a fluttering gored skirt, short sleeves, and a peter pan collar.
    The condition is vintage excellent.  See the condition report above.  Any marks seen are on the mannequin and show through the silk.  There are no marks on the gown, just the mannequin.
    The measurements of the gown taken laid flat and measured straight across are:
    shoulder to shoulder 15"
    bust 19"
    waist 17", can be cinched by adding a belt
    hips bias cut 19" not stretched out
    shoulder to waist 15"
    shoulder to hem 56"
