New from Danner Manufacturing! Super-Flex Pond Liner by Pondmaster is a proprietary polyethylene based liner that provides greater tear, puncture and UV resistance than traditional EPDM or PVC liners. This 30 mil thick liner has been thoroughly tested to provide DOUBLE the puncture resistance of standard 45 mil EPDM liner! Though Super-Flex is very strong it is surprisingly lightweight, about half the weight per square foot when compared to 45 mil EPDM. This makes Super-Flex easy to transport and install! The improved strength of this liner is traded for flexibility especially in colder weather. This makes it ideal for large more regular shaped ponds. However, by simply exposing Super-Flex to temperatures above 75 degrees the liner becomes much more pliable to the point that the difference in flexibility compared to traditional PVC & EPDM pond liners becomes negligible. This relationship to heat also allows for repairs to be made with a heat gun in the unlikely event of a tear or puncture.
