Description...Welcome to my auction. For your consideration is a vintage unused set of (6) all different Grobet Vallorbe Die Sinker riffler files cut #0. This set is part of a large private collection of both die sinker and silversmith riffler files I will be listing. This particular set would make a great starter set as well as adding shapes to an existing set or group. These files were produced in the 1970s and are Swiss made with no duplication of shapes and below I have listed style numbers for each file and the rifflers that I am offering contain many shapes that are no longer produced or difficult to find. Both Baiter and Grobet Vallorbe riffler files share the same style/shape numbers and have been the top quality rifflers used by machinists, jewelers, gunsmiths and the home hobbyist and are the highest quality Swiss made rifflers available in the market and are priced at a fraction of what you would pay new.
****Note**** The riffler files that I am offering came from a single and large collection of 'Swiss Made' rifflers and not to be confused with Swiss pattern files made in other countries. I am offering files from Grobet Vallorbe as well as Baiter in which both companies produced these in Switzerland and the files share the same style numbers in exact shapes and quality which are the very best money can buy. Nearly all the rifflers are unused and in excellent condition and have been stored properly with some showing only a bit of surface shading from age with each set offered containing some very hard to find shapes as these are not the basic sets you see from Government surplus in the blue plastic pouches or the standard factory offered sets. The files range in age from the 1940s through the early 1980s with the bulk of the files being from the 1960s to the late 1970s when the quality was at its very highest and I promise the purchaser will not be disappointed as the prices are a fraction of what they would be new today if available selling at from .00 to .00 each
